Lunch and ...

At the bottom of the lake, there was a small town. Per the suggestion from the lady at the winery stopped by here for walk around and lunch.
A cute little twin with some characters. Ice cream parlor was old fashion inside and out.

Bacon Caramel...

We thought we would grab something near by but the place we wanted to go will close next two days, so we drove 40 minutes to this place. Like 10 types of shakes, and I chose bacon fat charamel shake. As a charamel lover, it hit all the notes.
The view from one side of the lake was stunning.

Vacation Started

Finally our vacation started. To avoid flights, we chose again to come to finger lakes area. Just about 4 hours drive brought us to the hotel. No activities today but from tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Sunday Afternoon

A few errands to take care of this afternoon in the city. In between I stopped by Ess-a bagel (by the way, ess means eat in Yiddish) for lunch. A long line including obvious Japanese tourists. I gave up a sandwith and went straight to the bagel counter to save some time.
It was warm and delicious to eat while I walked the city. A street fair on the Lexington street today.

Friday Evening...

Enjoying the time home in NY. Wine and cheese to develop the appetite, and chicken BBQ for dinner. Wings are good once cooked thoroughly.
