Healthy Dinner

To offset not too healthy lunch, our dinner was Japanese dishes including Miso soup. I barely cook Miso soup and found that it is a very healthy alternative to other soups we cook.

Burger Lunch

Old fashioned burger. No frills but a classic American burger and coleslaw.  Chill was a bonus.

Curry Dinner

Cooked in Dutch oven my famous curry came out perfect. A combination of chicken and beef gave the best of both.
A few healthy side dishes.

Korean Food Lover

On sale at the store and could not pass it. We usually buy 0.5kg version but this time it is 3kg. It was almost the same price so no brainer.

Trip Back

Usually we fly from South to JFK, but this time from North.
Gorgeous view of the city helped by dry cold air.

After The Snow

Many flights have been cancelled but not mine. Strong sunshine has been melting the snow for now.

Asian Dinner

Lunch was totally non Asian and tonight dinner was 100% Asian.
Korean soup, pepper dish and Natto only for me. Whole day in the apartment due to the storm.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Sourdough bread with Swiss cheese, the perfect combination. Pumpkin soup with chili powder and a hint of curry powder.
My famous potato salad to die for. Newly purchased Dutch mustered has been doing a great job

Lemon Chicken Dinner

In the mood for chicken, plus it is Friday so... One pot cooking technically. A whole lemon gave sourness and a bit of bitterness too. A great dish to repeat again.

Baked Cake

Confirmed they were still open for the night. We were the last customer and there was only one piece left. I was like what kind and she explained that it was chocolate frosting, and only $2. SOLD.
I thought she would cut in half but all ours. With three brownies,  only $5.
SWEET.

Pok Pot Thai

Wanted to come here for a while.
Cheesey decoration put us like we are in actually in Thailand.
Chicken wing to die for. I love Brooklyn

Ramen Lunch

Hair cut in East Village,  so I decided to stop by my go-to Ramen store. Not too bad...
Super cold day but hot noodle for sure warmed me up.

Sushi Dinner

Chirashi style. Never made brown rice sushi rice, but we liked it very much.
Now I don't need to buy white rice only for sushi.

Pasta Lunch

After working out at the gym, we were hungry... A quick tomato sauce with tuna and olive came out better than we expected.
Now we need another exercise to burn this off.

Saturday Lunch

Nothing special but there is nothing better than home-cooked meal after 2 weeks biz trip.

Celebration Dinner

Something to celebrate tonight. One chicken and one pork. Nobody can tell.
Perfectly crunchy and juicy inside.

Unique Architecture

It is not an ideal weather to walk around but this is what you expect for winter in Europe.
Interesting Dutch design including wooden cross bridge and food market. Upper floors are apartments.

Full Breakfast

A full hotel breakfast to star the day. Finally I had a decent sleep to catch up. I am planning to walk around to see the architecture this city is famous for.

Luxury in Rotterdam

Weekend in Rotterdam. I have never been here even though I have been passing this city many times.
A very nice suit I got. It is a true suit meaning two rooms. Even desk for work which I am not thinking to do.

First Trip of 2016

After a long holiday, I am back to Amsterdam for work. Treated myself by upgrading to the biz class.
Delta has changed their featured chef and now it is Italian. Yummy.

Suki Uo?

Saw this on TV the other day and wanted to try. Yellow tail remained me the hometown in new years. Each region has different dishes and we had yellow tail.

Chinese Lunch

Expected authentic Chinese but it was rather American Chinese.  Still good though. Some leftover to home.

Happy New Year

Untraditional yet my first meal for 2016. Home made ANKO with MOCHI. Somehow coffee was the perfect match. Wish a great new yearbook all.
