Norman Rockwell Museum

On the way back home, we went to the museum as my friend had recommended.
Familiar paintings and something new. This museum is located on top of the hill and the view from his studio was stunning.

Dessert

Instead of having it at the restaurant,  we decided to go to a creamery for dessert.
Second ice cream for the day, but this time was traditional one.

Three Course Dinner

It had nice reviews, so we chose this place for the dinner.
Prefix three course menu shared by two, so we had six dishes to taste.
Clean and reflecting the season well dishes.

Hiking

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we headed for hiking.
A variety of trials and we tried two miles around the lake.
Instead of lunch, we found this soft serve ice cream place near by. One price for any size, so of course we went for LARGE

Short Trip

A few hours of drive lead us to the west side of Massachusetts where famous summer music concerts are held.
Finally we had a chance to come here, and the timing could not be better.
At the Irish bar, the waitress asked my ID for beer, and I was not sure she was joking. I can't look like under age, so what was the purpose?

Philippino Food in the City

Met up with my old friend from the school in East Village,  where I felt that I am the oldest person in the area.
First time to have philippino Food but it was like later American food, as it did mot really reminded me of Asian food
Nice conversation even though the place was super noisy and we needed to shout all night.

Indian Lunch

After the gym, met up with the friend to catch up.
I knew this place but never tried, so glad to find that this place in Greenwich was good.
We will come back next time.

Healthier Choices

Debated between this and a burger joint, and so glad we chose this one.
The selections were much better than I thought. Much younger crowds than traditional restaurants.

Back Home

Treated myself to biz class to wrap up this vacation. Liked Mainz but wished that it would have been 10 degrees cooler.
Relaxing days in New York till another trip to Massachusetts later this month.

Light Meal with Wine

After coming back from a light hike, a local wine with smoked trout was perfect meal to save my craving.

Wine Country

One hour train ride to another section.  Beautiful views from a cable car to the tip of the hill.

Ice cream by the River

Close to the sun down, the temperature also came down to comfortable range.
Sitting the river side with ice cream. Interesting flavors.

Power Breakfast

It has been warmer than I anticipated. You need a full breakfast to enjoy the day without lacking the gas during the day.

Quick Bite

A quick bite at a restaurant in another little town along side of the river. Of course you have to have Germany beer.

River and Vineyard

One hour train ride to this spot where we took a cable car, or shall I say lift.

Local Beer

You have to have local beer and food in a very local setting restaurant.  Our glasses were tiny compared with others.

Summer Break Started

Four weeks of my summer break has been started Germany.

Italian Dinner

The one we wanted to go was closed so this back up was our choice for the night.
Very typical American Italian without any frills.

Happy Birthday America

It's July fourth. To thar, we had burger with beer after the gym, so it is kind of offset.
It has been hot and steamy last several days. No fireworks as I need to go to bed early to wake up at three in the morning.

Full Course Meal

There are some perks you can get after this many travels. A free upgrade is one of them. I like Delta airline over KLM in every aspect, even though I don't like their new uniform.
