Japanese guy living in Brooklyn Heights, New York is posting updates in BH and his life.
Chicken wings. You have to have these. Pumpkin soup, potato salad and Kimchi fried rice. All came really good.
At out favorite restaurant in Bronx. Different atmosphere than Brooklyn or Manhattan.
Two pieces of pork were four ONE. Of course I took a half home.
Tonight theme was Korean. Korean pancake and Korean soup. I used all Korean ingredients but not sure the method of cooking was authentic. Who cares as they were delicious.
Not often to do this, but we were in Greenwich CT, where a super high-end grocery is located. Aged dry beef was perfect. Nothing but salt and pepper.
To offset not too healthy lunch, our dinner was Japanese dishes including Miso soup. I barely cook Miso soup and found that it is a very healthy alternative to other soups we cook.
Old fashioned burger. No frills but a classic American burger and coleslaw. Chill was a bonus.
Cooked in Dutch oven my famous curry came out perfect. A combination of chicken and beef gave the best of both.
A few healthy side dishes.
