COLD

After pasta lunch, drove FDR to uptown. It has been cold this year and this is the proof. Frozen river.

Chicken Curry

This is so different from what I grew up with. No potatoes at our house. We have been using Staub pot and it took only one hour to taste like hours of cooking.
Hot curry spice from Sahadi was perfect kick to the dish.

Simple but Delicious

Early morning, as I work in European hours.
Esse bagel was the perfect breakfast and can't be more NY than this.

Going Home

Nothing better feeling than going home after two weeks of work, especially when I upgraded myself.
Enjoying the meals with some wine while watching The Silence of the Lambs.

Sunday in Brussels

Forgot to upload some pictures I took on Sunday.
Some sunny time here and there, so typical destination to burn some calories and get some treat.
After all this is what I got. You can see the spring is here already.

Saturday Market

Another weekend in Brussels. Walking around the city between some showers. A farmer's market at the square, and there are many food vendors including this roasted chicken one. It could hold hundreds of chickens.

African Peer?

It's different from what I can get in US. It is huge and it has to be imported from somewhere.
This little orange is just like Mikan you can get in Japan.

A Good Day

Cold but plenty of sunshine today in Brussels. After a great breakfast served by familiar facese and relaxed in the room for a while, I strolled down the city. January was the sale season here but February is a STEALING season. I found a perfect gray jacket with 70% markdown. With stronger $, it was a literally steal.
A late lunch at Kokuban again. 80% local meaning non Japanese but they have been keeping authenticity.

Ready for Super Bowl

Healthy version of our super bowl snack / dinner.
Katie Perry's half time show was awesome. I knew all the songs which has never happened at last super bowls.
