Apple, pecan, blueberry... and here banana cream pie. It looks small but it is 9 inch pie.
Too much for two but we could not pass on.

Yes, you can buy frozen or cooked one's, but there is nothing better than home made.
Dou you see there are two different forms? With tacks and without.
Either one came out really nicely.

Nice Dinner

Forgot to post these photos. We went to this restaurant located not too far from the hotel on Sunday evening. Last time I went there with B costed me $$$ but not this time. Wonderful meal.

Canal View

Afternoon walk to my favorite area. It seemed very quiet this week not just because it is chilly, but because the major conference in Den Haag must have pushed the price of hotels.

Saturday Italian Dinner

After some research, we decided to go to this Italian place. 15 minutes walk from the hotel. After three weeks of away from home, I really miss my home cooking.

Lunch in a Indian Influenced Place

Sandwitch with some Indian spices. Not like Paris, but interesting flavor.

Another Classic

I could not pass this place. 9 euro for hot chocolate, and another 9 euro for a cake. Yes expensive but for this experience, it is not too bad. Many Japanese were at the restaurant but not so many were eating this cake, WHY?
The Opera theater from the front side, which I have never seen (I only saw from the back somehow).
Gorgeous? YES.

French Dinner on Satturday

We did not know what to eat and just search the web, and this came out. What a great find int he neighborhood we really liked.
It's not that much sophisticated but they know how to cook French food. All traditional dishes you could image if you talk about French food.

Saturday in Paris

A bit colder than yesterday yet could not complain as it is still March after all.
I wanted to go to this pastry and it was well worth a subway ride. Very traditional rum cake and napoleon. It is difficult to impress me on the sweets, but they did.

City Walk

A spectacular day Friday afternoon. After a few more hours of work after the lunch, we went to the museum and walked around the city.
I really think that Paris is the most beautiful city on the planet. I know why so many people come back here, like us.

Friday Lunch

After working a half day on Friday, we had a  nice french lunch at near by restaurant. Only 10 tables or so and a lady served all the tables.
2 courses and total of 4 dishes we shared. All are very good and especially the desert. I have never had something like this.

Paris Hotel

After 3 hours of train ride, we arrived in Paris. Very nice hotel we checked in. A nice surprise to be upgraded to a junior suite. Addicted to be treated like a royal

Japanese Influence

Some degree of Japanese influence in these dishes. I know pasta is not Japanese but this style is pretty Japanese. I can't say what's in but I think majority of people know what's in.

Seafood Dinner

A few dishes made within one hour. A quick cooking brought us tasty dishes, and good for the body. Home cooking is the best... for now.
