Ok, not really I cooked an Indonesian dish, but used store bought peanut sauce for grilled chicken.
I found a jar in Amsterdam. They have as many types of peanut butter as in US so I thought that it has to be good.
With Montreal seasoning for grilling, it was pretty good.
With Kabocha soup.
A quick drive to a small town just north of the city. A warm afternoon as September but still nice to sit under the shade. Three scoops perfect to share by two, at least by our standard. Peanut butter cup was the best.
We usually go to Sushi Den on this day, but Japanese BBQ this year, as we will be in Japan in 4 weeks.
Never been at Gyu Kaku, bit it was pretty like Japan inside.

After 3 weeks of summer holiday, now it is time to go back to work, meaning Amsterdam.
Did not notice but a new Ramen place was opened just a few blocks from my apt. It was as good as Ippudo I had in Tokyo.
On the way back from Boston, we stopped by our favorite creamery in Connecticut. I have to say, better than any places, except Penn State creamery.
Last Meal of this vacation. Found this neighborhood type Italian place,15 minutes walk from the hotel.
First raw oysters on this trip to start, and calbonara was really good.
Perfect way to conclude our great summer trip. Till next trip in October to JAPAN.
