Finished the Week

Busier than I anticipated,  yet just finished the work and finally had a chance to get out to see the city.
I had been here before but that was a short visit.
A light meal as I did not have a chance to eat lunch today.

German Lunch and Sweet

After three hours if walking around, we chose German restaurant for our last meal at a restaurant.
Wow, tasty dishes and very reasonably priced. Love Germany.

Sunday in Cologn

A lovely day to be outside.  It is fall already here in Europe.

Weekend in Germany

With another friend, we are spending our weekend in Germany.  At a fancy hotel with good food and drinks, this stay releases all the stress I had this week from work.

Weekend in Paris

With my friend from Japan I spent this weekend in Paris.
One of the tallest towers in the city gave us stunning views from the room and from the lounge.
Food was ok but their bread and butter in the lounge were the best on this trip.

Last Day

This vacation is finally over and we drove over four hours home. On our way, we stopped at our favorite Korean restaurant for the soup and beef.
We really enjoyed the stay at this hotel and the view from the window was something we won't forget

Not so Healthy Meals

In the end we are on vacation.
Plus we kept the exercise at the gym during this time.

Pancake

Pancake for breakfast today. It is out of whole grains,  so it is supposed to be healthier.
You have to have sausages along with it.

Ocean City

One hour drive to ocean city.  Three miles of boardwalk was cool yet it was too hot to walk all the way.
On its way, we had lunch at chick-fil-a. Smaller than I thought but still tasty.

Local Flavor

I chose local dish for our breakfast this morning. This area is famous for its crab and they incorporate it in many dishes, like this case egg benedict.

Cocktail Time

Beautiful water view around sunset.
Some cocktail and Seafood dishes.

Humidity 100%

It's not as hot as Japan for sure, but pretty steamy this morning down in Maryland.
Will wait till mid morning to go outside at the poolside.

Hotel Breakfast

Conflicted selections... Vegetables only omelet and breakfast sausages.
Too many selections and we need to prioritize what we want to eat on that day.

Last Vacation of the Summer

Four hours drive brought us to a resort area in Maryland.
On the way here, we stopped by a diner in NJ where they serve roles at each table.
Plan to relax to prepare to work again.

Frozen Margaritas

It is a steamy day and we needed a cold drink to cool down.
Frozen margaritas were the perfect drink
Somehow I don't feel alcohol though.
