Chicken chilli and Korean-ish cold noodle. I used a lot of spices to make it authentic even though I still don't know how chilli is supposed to be cooked.

Summer Like Saturday
To enjoy warm day , we came to the prospect park in Brooklyn. We stopped by Bergen bagel to buy some sandwiches.
Many people were enjoying the sun on the grass. It was not as hot as I thought it could be.
Our dinner was a quick Thai cury. We call it Thai since we use coconut milk.
Breakfast in Swedish Style
I usually buy something "remember by" on a trip. This cup was that this time. I found at a flea market. Could not regist from this unique shape and design.

Friday Home Cooking Dinner
Both were out of town this week, so there was nothing better than home cooking. One beef and the other pork version.
It has been like summer in NY as well.

Swedish Designs
Inside of the library. Very modern as 1920s architecture.
Express train's insidebwas another example of their high design.

Sunday in Stockholm
Behind hotel is more hippier area, per Maria, and I found this ice cream store. Three scoops were gigantic and I regretted to ordered it.
Walked to the city hall and another subway line on the way back. Very interesting organic look.

View from the Hotel
Unfortunately not from my room but from the lounge. Similar to Amsterdam yet prettier in my opinion.
Looking at the old city.
Saturday in Stockholm Three
This city is famous for its design, and this store was not an exception.
The famous library was closed today but I sneaked inside which looked nice.
On the way back, I had famous open fish sandwich. A local girl, Maria gave me some suggestions to go tomorrow. We talked for more than one hour under nice sunshine.
Famous Market in Stockholm
Many fish stores along with butchers, veritable stands, and dairy products. Several vendors had seating areas to have sit in meals. Not for me this time.

Going Back to Work
After a long weekend in NY, I am already back in Amsterdam. It seems it just became a busy season as the hotel is almost full.
My status gave me an upgrade to business this time. Food is better in Delta than you know which airline.

Dinner with B.
We both were in the city, so we met for an early dinner.
Local beer for us, while he got root beer.
Built your own hamburgers - vege-burger for me but fried pickled and onion rings did not help reducing total calories.

Mexican Snack
Lazy Saturday afternoon. Watching some TV shows to catch up with some "healthy" Mexican snack. A glass of wine was required.

Lunch at Ben's Deli
It has been a while since last time to have a meal at a kosher deli.
A traditional sandwich with pickles - sour and young.

Renewing Passport
Only two years since I got one but I need more pages.
Came to lower Manhattan before their door opened at 7:30.
By 8:15 I got the paper stating I can pick a new one up tomorrow afternoon. Sweet.
Banana pudding from you know WHERE.

Lunch
Staying in Amsterdam this weekend as I did not want to drive for 2 hours.
Lunch at a Japanese place, even though I just got back from there. No comparison to real thing but reasonable.

Air France Business Class
I had a high hope for this but mixed impression - food is good, wine is good, but seat is old.
Right before the landing, tri color of soil, green and yellow flowers. Beautiful.

Departure...
KLM seems to have some mechanical problems and I am taking Air France instead. I am so glad I treated myself to biz class this time.
Last Night
Even fantastic time has to come to the end. Tonight was the last in Tokyo before heading back to the reality.
The biggest temple with the tower. We just made it for the.perfect shot.
Nagoya style pasta for our last meal.
Highest Room in Tokyo
Just found out that Toranomon Hills is the tallest building in Tokyo, and this room is on the highest floor, so we should be staying in the highest living space in Tokyo. COOL.

Dinner and the Tower
Craved for tonkatsu. Biggest plate they serve. Yummy.
To help burn some calories, we walked around the neighborhood. The view from the bottom was equally impressive. Only limited people can see from the top like us.
Zushi Day Trip
This time we travel to southwest. Debated between Kamakura but so glad we chose Zushi - less people, nice views.
Still a warm day but with ocean breath, not too bad.

Kawagoe Day Trip
A day trip to Kawagoe. I knew this place has been getting popular but did not know this much. There were so many people due to GW.
After relaxing at the pool side on 37th, we are enjoying the view from the room.
