No traditional check in counter but like lounge with wine service.
Walked around the area and settled for the noodle for dinner.
With this view from the room, we just bought desert from a convenient store.

Check-in, Dinner and...
Last Meal
Before heading to the airport, we had a quick lunch in the market. Another cold noodle which I will miss most.

View from the Hotel
Our lounge is located on the top floor with outdoor space. Too hot to have breakfast but nice to enjoy dramatic view.
Chicken Pot
Traditional Korean chicken pot where sticky rice with other stuff including Korean carrot to enhance the flavor.
One of the gates has green interior you would not notice till you get closer.
Tea Time
5 subway stations away from where we stayed. Totally different from hustle and bustle.
Traditional Korean house converted to a tea house. A beautiful view .

Korean Lunch and Sweets
Light lunch at the market. Very livery atmosphere which made me fell I am in Korea, not Japan.
A different type of shaved ice with bean powder. They are so lightly shaved and did not melt till you put it on your tongue.

Ryuan Ji (Temple)
Another my favorite spot in Kyoto. Not only the famous stone garden, but also surrounding main garden.
Late lunch at an Italian restaurant. First time to have an Italian beer.

Yasaka Shrine
Even though, buildings were under construction, this view was worth the visit. A lot of tourists even it is still before GW.
Shisen-Do
Pretty famous yet very quiet Zen atmosphere to release all stress and anything you would like to leave behind.
Fantastic weather emphasized the greens.

With people I love and who love me. Not only great meals but also fun conversations. BTW, I am in Kyoto.

Sweets and Sweets
I have known this small store for a while but I have never bought anything till today.
Very home made pastries and others and some canned food like jam and mustered. All were speaking French which is very cute, after hearing English and Dutch this week.
Chocolate with orange golden combinathion, while surprisingly sour custard. Both are very good and I will go back for sure.

Sukiyaki-ish Dinner
We went to the city to walk around the upper east neighborhood where we lived before. Each block has different feeling and people clearly.
Home cooking dinner to accommodate both tastes in one pot.

Neapolitan Spaghetti
I know it is not Italian but Japanese. I was so in the mood to cook this today. No spaghetti in the apartment so fat nudles.
I think this is the taste I was going for but not sure to be honest.
Finally Spring is HERE
It had been a long winter this year. Finally sun and a milder temperature today.
A short drive to Connecticut. You can see skyscrapers of Manhattan far away and the other side shows open ocean.

Busy Friday
As I am in NY only several days a month, I try to schedule everything on Fridays and Mondays. Sometimes it won't work as planned unfortunately. Yet I had a late lunch in East Village and a hair cut afterwards at least.

Fantastic Night
One of my reasons to be in Berlin - visiting Berlin Philharmonic.
It is interesting from outside and so as from inside.
Concert was titled as Easter concert so they played somewhat familiar music.
The couple next to me was from Paris, and they were amazed by the fact I am from NY, while I was about Paris.
Overall visiting Berlin was far better than I thought it would be. Highly recommended to come here.

The Wall
You can still see the remaining of the walls all over the city. This is one of the biggest one. It is low enough to cross over it but I read that there were a lot of tools not to make it possible to cross it.
Famous food stands in Berlin. No tasting this time.
Loving this Park
I know we have world famous central park, but I might like this Park better - quiet and not commercialized.
It is too early for any flowed to bloom but the sky was pretty today.
