Not going to a parade or party but I was in the city for some stuff.
I found that there is another ess-a bagel in lower east.
Same great or the best bagel.

Free Dinner
I have already stayed at this hotel 50 nights. This is the way they say thank you. It seemed I could have ordered anything but I was not that hungry. Still nice.
Apple Pie a la Brussels
A bakery around the corner from the hotel has this tasty Apple desert.
Simple yet you can really taste Apple. Fall season only.

New Place Founded
On the way to Kokuban, a Japanese restaurant in Brussels, but found this establishment. It was OK, not as good as Kokuban. It is still popular though. Eating Ramen while listening to French conversations is interesting for sure.

Busy Day...
Before catching a flight, I had a business lunch in lower Manhattan. World trade center tower looks better in a close view.
A nice restaurant with cool bar section, but no drink today.
To ease my travel time, I spent 25,000 miles to upgrade myself to biz. class. I can have a better shirt sleep.

Last Meal...
No more cooking before heading back to Amsterdam tomorrow.
Freezer and refrigerator bath are full with food. So my mission has been accomplished.

Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO
Lunch through afternoon in the area. Vietnamese sandwitch for lunch by sitting at the park. 15 minutes walk to DUMBO to see the city from a bit north. Gray clouds made the view something misterious.

Shabu-Shabu Dinner
It got cool enough to have a hot pot for dinner. Shabu-shabe. Got a permission to sneak in pork too. A lot of food for two but we finished most of it.

Korean in Brussels
Wanted to eat some Asian food tonight and the choice was Korean.
All non-Asian except me eating Korean or Japanese food they serve. Not as good as the ones in NY/NJ but did a job for me.
Found this poster on the way back. Could not understand as it is written in French.
Dinner at Okura AGAIN
This time I was the sponcer to FEED two, of which one person is going back to Japan.
A traditional Japanese course with wines, not Sake. All delicious but a bit too much to finish all.

Seasonal Cake
A rainy Saturday in Brussels. 15 minutes walk to a sweet heave, where all famous chocolate stores and sweet shops are located.
Today's choice was this chestnut cake, the classic French cake. Tasting the fall season in a warm room.
Additional note. I like this better than the one in Paris. I think Wittamer has a store in Japan too, so plaease try it if you find this cake there...

5A Means...
I had a good feeling today as seat map seemed pretty empty. Plus, my lucky charm lady was at the counter, who remembered me.
25,000 mileages are a great deal. Nice meal and good wine are waiting for me now.

Hiking and...
Another hiking to see more colors. I guess this year was not the best after all. Still fresh air and walking through the greens, nothing to complain.
Home made dinner concluded this weekend. Too shot.

Lunch with B.
We had been missing each other, and finally a chicken lunch in the city.
Not the best but waffle with chicken, a combination was good.

Lunch Served
To me lunch in NY is like dinner. Cooked 3 dishes with a lot of vegetable. Work is done so a full half day is for... something fun.
