Dinner with Ex-Boss

My ex-boss came to Amsterdam and we had dinner to catch up. Talked about business and the people we worked with a few years ago. A nice night, but somehow I needed to pick up the bill...

Hiking

A bit too early for fall color but we enjoyed 3 hour hiking on Saturday. It will be nicer in two weeks

Sushi Den Dinner

To celebrate some event we went to one of our favorites in the city.
In front of our go to chef Mr. K and he walked us through in season fish. Fall to winter has more variety I feel like. Some from Japan while others are local. Till next year, unless we go back earlier.

Dinner Alone

Still in Europe. Actually in Brussels for the weekend just to change the hotels.
Hate to eat by myself at a restaurant but sometimes you have to do. When was the last time I had rice...

Last Bite in Croatia

Used up all currencies at the airport before the departure. Not sure it is their traditional sweet, but like apple turnover.

Night View

Old Town was very lively. Many people were enjoying fantastic night outside. So many good spots to take a picture of.

Outside of the Walls

Just Sun went down and this is the view. Amazing. Ice cream was a good touch.

Port

This is the port where many boats are parked and cruise ships park for a day. We did not see any today. Mountains are so close to the ocean.

Day Trip

15 minutes of bus ride to be at other side of the city. Rocky beach but beautiful. Early dinner was at an Italian restaurant. Good seafood and cool white wine.

Dinner

Another dinner under the sky. This time Croatia food. Maybe not the best but we are glad we tried.

Before Dinner

Island

10 minutes of small ferry ride brought us to a small island. Peacocks all over as they were brought from Africa years ago. Nice ocean view.

Breakfast

Breakfact at the the terace. I wish it is our room but lounge. Fantastic view not no many people can experience.

Dinner

Lovely tapas place seating outside.
Good seafood and wine made the night perfect.
Could not resist the ice cream.

Old Town

Protected by the walls there are perfectly preserved old town. Many tourist but after 6 pm or so, all cruise people leave the city.

Croatia

Instead of going home this weekend, we are speendjng the time in Croatia.
Never thought I would come here.
