It's everywhere.
Picked one outside of city. 10 minutes drive gives totally different view and atmosphere. No tourist but locals. Three course at 25 Euro. Satisfied.

Saturday Supper
Found this ramen place near by and we tried it. Not too bad by considering that it is owned by non Japanese.
Ice cream for desert, while walking around the city darkening.
Center City
There was some sort of music event in the center city, museum district.
Surprisingly beautiful lawn even with heavy traffic.
Lunch in Amsterdam
It has been a while since last time I spent the weekend here. I am here for the weekend and we are having a late and rexing lunch in Amsterdam. No tourist, except us, at this restaurant. Originally built for factory, so you can still see some huge motors not removed.
Food was good too.

Beach and Chili?
Fantastic weather today, upper 70s with low humidity. We hit near by beach just to sit under the shade, not for swimming.
To extend our lazy afternoon, dinner was chilly made with both beef and chicken. Even though I had not eaten it in Japan, I nailed it again.

Hanging Out in Brooklyn
I really like Brooklyn, and sometime I wonder why I don live here full time.
In front of the park is going through a major development including a hotel.
Lunch at a restaurant with a nice view of the city. Cool afternoon so the breath was very nice.
Afternoon break at Baked in Redbook. So many people and we don't know where they are coming from.

Brussels Flower Carpet
I have been in Europe for 3 years and been in Brussels like 20 times, but the first time to be here during this event. A lot of tourists in town.
This square itself is beautiful but with this carpet, magnificent. They change the design every year. Maybe nested year too...

Fancy Dinner 2
Six course seasonal menu we tried. Amuse and pre desert resulted in 8 dishes.
Pretty sophisticated dishes, while a few dishesh were not as good as others, but overall great food.
Not sure how much it costed, but 90 Euro or so for food and wine were extra of course.
Fancy Dinner 1
A business dinner at two or three star restaurant French-Dutch restaurant.
It is located in front of a lake so you have a nice view.
Bubble to star the dinner.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Our version - no butter or anything but just bread and cheese.
We missed this as we have not cooked this for a while.
Started adjusting my body clock to prepare for next week in Amsterdam.

Dinner at Home
Chicken cutlet with a variety of vegetables including the beans we bought at the market.
Very nice and nothing can beat this.
Perfect Day
It has to be one of the perfect 10 days in a year you can have. Low 80s and low humidity. Stopped by at a farmer's market to buy white green beans and sourdough bread.
And them drove 10 more minutes to a French restaurant in the town where Hillary Clinton lives. Outside dining was required today.

Back from the Trip
4 days were perfect for us to be away from home. 4 hours drive back home was not too bad. Cooked most comforting food to get back to an ordinally life. We had a lot of fun and we loved the area.

Lunch and ...
At the bottom of the lake, there was a small town. Per the suggestion from the lady at the winery stopped by here for walk around and lunch.
A cute little twin with some characters. Ice cream parlor was old fashion inside and out.

Bacon Caramel...
We thought we would grab something near by but the place we wanted to go will close next two days, so we drove 40 minutes to this place. Like 10 types of shakes, and I chose bacon fat charamel shake. As a charamel lover, it hit all the notes.
The view from one side of the lake was stunning.
