Chicken Dinner

A new recipe I tried and it came out very tasty. It will be on my to be repeated dishes. Salad and some green sums up a healthy dinner.

All Saturday Should Be...

Perfect weather to be outside. Our destinations was Prospect Park. Bagel sandwiches at Bergen Bagels. A few hours of relaxing time under the shade.
On the way back, seafood dinner in City Island. Heavy traffic as everyone wanted to have a nice seafood meal. A huge portion guranteed doggie bags for tomorrow.

Rei Shabu

I think this is how it's called.
Shabu Shabu on the vegitables like salad.
One beef and one pork to satisfy both sides. It feels SUMMER which just started officially today.

Midtown

New York City has many neighborhoods which have different characteristics.
East Midtown is more office centric, as close to major train station.
Empire State building from the 3rd avenue.
Lunch at a Japanese restaurant, which is one of the first ones I went when I had a n office near by years ago.

Beach Day

Not warm enough to actually swim or even lay down at the beach, but it was a gorgeous day to be outside despite the weather in the city. 30 minutes of a nice ride brought me to the beach west side of Haarlem.
I bet it will 've packed when the tempreture hits 75 degrees.
On the way back, a small town had this ice cream store I could not pass by.

Weekend NOT at Home

I could not go home this weekend per my schedule so I am in Amsterdam by myself. Good news is I at least have a car to go wherever I want. Late Lunch at a a Japanese restaurant. I liked it a lot and I don't think I need a big meal today anymore

After Dinner Treat

Dinner with co-workers at a Japanese restaurant. It ended at 9:30 but a shopping mall was still open, as it was Thursday. Wanted to have some sweets and this is what I got. Banana flavor was just like frozen banana.
Can you see it is still super bright out even after 9:30?

Fly Back in Style

It turned out today was a national holiday in many European countries. As a result, the flight was packed, and I got an upgrade. It was only 2 hours flight but they served a hot meal. With sparkling wine. Wish it happens every time.

Opera Night

Wanted to do some cultural stuff, and this is what I found. Not the cheapest but less than $10 at full price.
Some were really dressed up while I was at least in long pants.
Powerful voice by the leading soloist, and 2 hours withought any break, which is rare. A great experience.

Lunch at Menza

Somehow famous this place... Comfort foods in a sltylish atomophere.
Hungary beef stew with home made noodles. Cabbage stuffed pepper pickles was nice to cut the richiness if the stew.

Day Two in Bufapest

Slept late so slow start. Bath is famous attraction here. I chose this one as it seems not too touristy. Relaxing time for sure.
Buda side today to explore. This church was my favorite.

Late Lunch

I ended up eating at a nice restaurant next to the park.
I did not expect this dish, meat stuffed in the radish, or Diakon, with white but not creamy sauce. I liked it a lot.
With the view and cold local beer. Nothing to complain.

Budapest Weekend Trip

A long weekend in the Netherlands and I came to Budapest. Warmer than I anticipated, but I did good by walking around the city. A beautiful city and many perfect views I can take a picture of.
