A beautiful sun rise on the way to the office. Don't worry, I was not driving but one German girl was.

Date in the City
We usually head to outside of the city, but today we spent the day in the city.
Started at a famous burger place, even though we originally thought to go to a sushi place.
10 blocks of walk to High Land, using the old railroad for a beautiful park. They have extended over the years now to over 20 blocks.
Chelsea Market to see some shops, which opened up to the Google building.
A fantastic day even thought a bit chilly with strong winds.

Fish Dinner
After eating a MEATY lunch, I felt that it is an obligation to eat fish. I just like to cook fish this way, so you can enjoy left over without reheating it. Who would like to reheat fish.... Not me, unless you want to make the kitchen smells like...
Korean Lunch
Whan I come back to NY, my work is basically done by noon, thank to a European project. So we usually cook lunch, but today we went to this newly opened Korean restaurant to have tofu soup. We still love the one in Fort Lee, but this was as good as that with a bit different taste.

Sunday Drive
Without any defined purpose, I drove about one hour to south.
No to bad weather actually. This is RIVER not canal. I realized that trees don't change their color to red but only yellow here.

Satisfied...
After sleeping late to catch up the sleep missing during the week, I drove to a ramen restaurant for dipping style noodle.
There is a site selling the same day tickets at 50% off, and this is what I bought today. A classic concert from the back stage. I went to this concert hall several times but sittiing at the back stage was my first. Awesom experience to see individuals playing.
Can't believe this was only $25. I will do this again fir sure.

THREE
Extra dishes for 9 dish course.
Simple salt and pepper made this steak even more meaty.
Dutch cheeses and Dutch flavored deserts.
Two bottles of wine and these tasty dishes took us 5 hours and $$$, but we had a fun time. Several more weeks we will work together but I am sure we will hang out again.
TWO
They have only two course menus, 6 dishes or 9 dishes.
Of course 9 dishes... Started with oysters, which is an extra... Nice fish and meat dishes... Simple yet using very good ingredients.
Thursday Dinner ONE
I had one place in mind for a while, and this weekend I confirmed that this restaurant is one of the best.
Out of many project members, Brett is the one I wanted to go with. He appreciates good food, and obviously he is a nice guy to hang out.

Desert Time
Another gorgeous day to be outside, even though it is cooler than 2 weeks ago.
The best place to be in the afternoon of Sundays.

Italian Dinner
After the Korean lunch, we changed the countries to Italy. My special meat sauce, and most importantly cauliflower salad, which everyone loves. By roasting it, it gives totally different perspective.
Fall Colors in NY
The weather became better than forecasted, so we took a drive to a bit north of the city. Old dam originally supplying the water to the city.
Many cyclists were also enjoying the weather and the scenery.
Korean Themed Lunch
Without going to Korea or Fort Lee NJ, we enjoyed Korean meal. Once you know how to use this red bean paste, you can mimick a lot of Korean dishes. Plus my Korean friends told me I am not doing wrong either.

Friday Dinner
Chicken on Friday... Hmmm it just happened? Cutlets, roasted vegitavles and vegi soup.
It took a bit more time than usual but worth it.

A Break
I did not go anywhere this weekend, actually even to the concert I had a ticket for. The weather changes are always not good for me and I am taking easy. Just walking around the city while my room is cleaned.
