After not cooking a while, don't ask reasons, and a weekend trip, meaning eating out all the time, we were craved for home cooking (vegetables). Now I feel all bad (yet tasty) things I have eaten have been offsetted.

Sunday Lunch
On the way back from Lake George, we stop by one of college towns and had lunch at a very lively restaurant. A great sandwich and I had an extra toast...

Weekend Trip to Lake George
3 hours of drive brought us to Lake George, popular during summer time. Off season yet you can still enjoy the beautiful views.
We had a nice lunch on the way and ran into many dogs.
Simple Celebration Dinner
There was something to celebrate yesterday. We could have gone to somewhere really nice but we decided to have it at this restaurant in our old neighborhood, upper east side.
We surely enjoy the meals but might have had enjoyed watching the people on the street more.

Polish Dinner
It was the safest bet for us as there was some food restriction we need to follow... This platter was great and so as our favorite sides... FULL.

Ice Cream
After some doctor visit, nothing serious, we went to an ice cream shop. Haven't had one for a long tome, and it was good.

Saturday Sweets, Snack and Dinner
I have been so good not eating fatty food or red meat but today was an exception.
Cup cakes for afternoon coffee, chicken liver and wine, and BBQ for dinner.
Need to go to the gym from Monday for sure.

Light Dinner
After having cheese and wine for snack this afternoon, our lunch was again light.
Some new receipt has been tested and was good with another glass of wine.

Happy B-Day Mom
It's my mom's birthday today. Thanks for giving my life, and now it is my pay back time. I hope I can make her life as happier as I could.

Romeo and Julia
This is what I did this afternoon - the ballet by the Dutch national ballet. It was really good as Julia was pretty and yes a great dancer.
Now I feel like I am in Europe. On the way back I realize that I AM in Europe and I am fortunate to do this.
Punch at the Room
Just a reality check... I don't eat fancy food every day, and this is my lunch at the room before headng out for... Stay tuned.

Saturday in Amsterdam
A while since last time I spent a weekend in Amsterdam. Slept till late, a nice breakfast at the hotel (same place and selection, but more relaxed for sure), went to a Japanese restaurant for lunch. Walked around the city with some shopping, and now am back at the hotel and enjoying afternoon coffee. I need to burn these off at the gym for sure.

Breakfast at the Palace Hotel
My friend from Tokyo is visiting NYC on business. He squeezed his busy, yes he is way high up person I am proud to call him as my friend, schedule to have breakfast at the hotel.
Madison avenue was beautiful with morning sun, even though we just lost one hour last night.
A beautiful space to have this fancy breakfast. Not sure how much, but you can have a nice dinner at the same price somewhere.
Chrysler building behind the grand central station. Surprisingly strong sunshine.

Light Meal
Per someone's request, we made vegetable hot pockets (aka spring roll). Along with "Kinpira" and mixed rice.
All brown but they were yummy.
Lunch in...
We drove a small town where the Clinton family live. It is not a super rich town, like Greenwich. Nice sandwiches with green salad.
There was St. Patrick parade on its way in next then.

Chicken Ball Nabe
I had some help from the website, but it was a hit. This was for four but we finished almost all. Healthy though.
Spring Snow
A beautiful view from our "upstate" place, where we got a few inches of snow this morning.
I love snow as long as I am not the person to clear the road, or till it gets dirty.

Lunch at Harvard Club
This must be one of the most exclusive places to have lunch. First you need to graduate from Harvard and to be a member (not sure what kind of requirements they ask besides the FEE).
Recently I changed the jobs and my new company's president belongs to this club. Today was my welcome lunch with another partner. Picture was prohibited so no other picture, unfortunately...

Ramen Lunch
I guess it does not matter if I am by myself or not. Lunch at a ramen shop in Park Slope. It is still cold, but the sun is getting stronger. I can feel it.

A Weekend Trip
I usually have only 72 hours in NYC every 2 weeks, but this time I have more time. So we decided to take an over night trip to long island. It is only 90 minutes drive but it is nice to go away from the city and have some quality time. The first stop is Chilli's...
