Sunday Brunch
At one of the restaurants on Franklin street in Chapel Hill. Some shopping after this. I have many school t-shirts and NC will join my collection.
University on NC
Didn't know this is the oldest public university in the US. Similar feeling to Penn State but a bit more southern flair to it. One main street next to the campus where you find many restaurants and shops. I don't know the school has started or not. I still like Penn State over this.

Dinner at the Room
Least favorite thing about the job is that I have to eat dinner by myself at the room. I guess I could sit at a restaurant by myself.

Different Type of Bagels
The front flat one is called bialy originally as popular as bagels but now not so many places sell both. It tastes like the pizza crust, very chewey. It might not be for breakfast but a good lunch or snack indeed.

Fish Dinner
We try to eat fish dish at least once a week. We cooked three types of fish marinated in sour and salty source. It came out good and we know it would be good next day in cold.

Trip to Beacon
Just over one hour drive brought us to this little town north of the city. It is famous for arts and galleries. You can take a train from the grand central as well. As there is a famous museum built out of an Nabisco factory, there are many visitors from the city, like us.

BBQ Dinner
To celebrate the summer, we cooked something summary, BBQ. As living in NYC, it is impossible to do outdoor grilling so obviously indoor stove top. We had Korean sauce which is a bit sweeter and made our original sauce. It came out great. This is serving for TWO, and we finished most of it.

Japanese Artist in NYC
In the subway I found this today. I don't think you can read the artist's name at the upper left corner, but it is Japanese girl. The subway authority has been featuring several artists to promote the subway and she is one of them.

After Dinner Walk
After a few rainy days, finally the sun is out. I am out to enjoy cool enough evening at the park just steps away. This is one of the reasons why I can't leave the heights. The best place to live.

Beef Bowl Dinner
Last meal for the weekend was another easy one. Love all the fresh vegetables we can buy at a farmer's store.

Afternoon Sweets
It has been rain whole day but we wanted to go outside. One of out favorite store for sweets, more to European but a bit Americanized. Nobody can make a better coffee than home, so we had them home by watching tv.

On the way home, we stopped by groceries for dinner. Easy pasta dish with cool cucumber salad. We don't usually drink but do you see the beer at the table? Somebody bought Sapporo.

Beautiful Sunset
It got cool last a few days, and we don't see 90s in the forecast anymore. It is a beautiful evening being outside. You need to love this.

Drumsticks
It is very rare to cook drumsticks but I wanted to try a new recipe. A bit sweet, sour, and spicy chicken. Actually eggs tasted better than chicken.

Beach and...
As we usually do during the summer, we went to the beach in long island. On the way back, instead of Korean town we stooped by at our favorite BBQ place. Look at the meats we got. There was no way we could finish all, so we brought a heavy doggy bag.

Pepe's Pizza
Not New York, but Connecticut pizza. This is originally in New Heaven where Yale university is located. You have to eat this clam pizza. So good. Large was really big and we needed to bring some home.
